Mercedes AMG GT SuperCar Details!

Does 503bhp V8 sound exciting to you? It does to us, and that is exactly what the new Mercedes AMG GT is offering. Whilst much of the world and social media was gripped by the reveal of the new iPhone 6 last night, we were concentrating on something else, the brand new Mercedes AMG GT. From the pictures that were released last night you can see the AMG GT is going to be a stunning car. Straight away you can see how the car is inspired by the Mercedes-Benz SLS in terms of its actual shape.

The 503bhp is exclusive to the GT S version of the AMG GT whilst the GT version has an only slightly less impressive output of 456bhp despite both the models having the same engine. Thanks to the difference in bhp, the GT S will be able to do 0-62 mph 2 tenths of a second faster than the GT at 3.8 seconds. Prices have still not officially been confirmed but it is expected that the price for the GT will lie somewhere near the £110,000 mark whilst the GT S will be around £120,000. As you may have guessed already the AMG GT is built around a similar chassis to the one used for the Mercedes-Benz SLS. Inside the AMG GT you won’t find any rear seats, but you will find a 350 litre boot. You will also find the same touchpad that’s in the new C-Class which fits in with the classic AMG centre console. There are buttons either side of the gear selector as well as buttons above on the roof which control the extendable spoiler, seat heating and hazard lights.
